It was such an awesome experience and made me appreciate this sport so much! Brad and his team taught me so much and were very supportive through out the entire class. Coming from Scuba, I've been eager to get stuck into the art of apnea and Freediving for years. Finally, after 3 months of fun diving in Australia, I was presented the opportunity to dedicate 4 straight days of training with Brad and his amazing team at Rica Freedivers in early May 2024.

Prior to any training with Brad's crew, my dive depth limited to 9m, I found it challenging equalizing when inverted, my breathup was clumsy and lengthy and my overal state of relaxation when beneath the surface was questionable.
At the conclusion of my training, my entire oceanic world had expanded considerably. My dive depth had increased by more than double, my inverted equalization using the frenzel technique was now in effect and considerably functional, my breathup was calm and balanced and my state of relaxation was just as sweet as the ocean itself.

Brad and his team are an exceptional crew in every capacity. They are not only a fun ocean loving bunch, but embody the grace, patience, wisdom and personable skills to take you from zero to hero in good time.
Be sure to express your intentions and as long as youre keen to learn or imporve, you will be in safe hands.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Gosh! What an amazing couple of weeks it’s been, writing this with a tear in my eye and not wanting to leave! My partner Ben and I came here to do our instructors and set up our Perth freediving biz. What we left with was an array of knowledge, incredible experiences, and friends for life! This week helped me to break through some beliefs, fine tune my equalisation techniques, and learn lots about creating a biz in this field.

Brad, Alex and Gabby were absolutely amazing. They make the experience personal and welcome, pay attention to the small details, and are there for the whole journey

The diving is amazing! The boat rides to and from the divesite I found a big extra as usually I do shoredives.

We absolutely loved the course, especially that we got to dive every morning most days. Waking up knowing your headed to the shop for a warm up and breathing with all the new friends you’ve met, and then heading out on a boat sharing laughs is paradise. There’s a lot to learn, and many challenges, but Brad is equipped with knowledge and he gives you his time. The business aspect of this course was invaluable. We are so excited to start our own Freediving company with the knowledge, and experience we’ve learned from Brad.

Brad and his staff go above and beyond.
