Was very well looked after from day 1 and given the upmost support, coaching, feedback and safety throughout. He went the extra mile, beyond the requirements, so I got the most out of my training. They have an excellent vibe here and a real dedication to what they do. Being on the boat and at sea with all levels of freediver is something I really enjoyed too, sharing the stoke whether it’s your 1st day trying to get 10m or an athlete absolutely sending it!! Even got to experience some very comprehensive spearfishing theory and a trip in open water with Kian that I highly recommend, whether your a complete beginner or a spearo looking to improve your knowledge and technique.

They push you to your limits and get you to go past those limits. They show you various methods on how to improve your freediving and spearfishing techniques. Great people to work with. And tons of fun. I highly recommend anyone who wants to do a spearfishing or freediving charter or course. I cant wait till I go back down to Quepos to train with them.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Brad and Kian were our guides for a 3/4 day spear fishing trip out of Quepos. The ocean was calm and warm! Brad was laid back and went at our pace, he even made all 6 of us sandwiches on the boat. And fresh cut pineapple. We had a successful spearing day for being out on the water 4 hours. Kian was in the water with us at all times and making sure everyone had a spotter and was being safe. I would highly recommend Rica Free divers and we look forward to returning again in the future.
